“候鸟计划”是陶溪川艺术中心长期的驻场艺术家招募计划，旨在吸引国内外优秀的艺术家到景德镇陶溪川进行驻地创作、艺术交流、共建艺术生态。

“FOR YOU & CROSSOVER”
Paula Murray 曾在渥太华大学学习科学，后在谢尔丹学院学习陶艺，并在班夫中心完成了两次实习，之后便开始了一段成功的职业生涯。她居住在加蒂诺公园，自1980年开设第一间工作室以来，一直坚持全职运营工作室。她在2017年入选为国际陶瓷学会成员，并因其独特的作品获得多项创作补助金。
Canadian artist, Paula Murray studied science at the University of Ottawa, ceramics at Sheridan College and completed two residencies at The Banff Centre before launching a successful career. Living in Gatineau Park, she has maintained a full-time studio practice since opening her first studio in 1980. Elected to the International Academy of Ceramics (2017), she has received multiple creation grants and awards for her distinctive work.

推动意识的发展
Paula Murray的作品灵感来自她与大自然的亲密关系，以及多年来在加拿大和南美洲之间来回抚养两个孩子的经历。对巴哈伊信仰的发现和对精神著作的持续研究，也激发了她在作品中对许多主题的探讨。
Inspiration is drawn from her close relationship with nature, and the years spent sailing between Canada and South America raising her two children. Her discovery of the Baha’i Faith and ongoing study of spiritual writings inspire many of the themes explored in her work.
她的作品包括分立的物体和装置。转型是 Paula Murray 作品的核心。瓷器是她探索创伤/复原力、控制/服从以及可见/不可见的动态等主题的理想材料。她对塑造我们个人和我们所生活的社会中既神秘又明显的力量很感兴趣。
Her work includes both discrete objects and installations. Transformation is at the heart of Paula Murray’s practice. Porcelain is an ideally responsive material for exploring her themes of trauma/ resilience, control/ submission, and the dynamism of the visible/invisible. She is interested in forces both mysterious and obvious that shape us as individuals and the societies we live in.

来到景德镇，Paula Murray想到了《巴哈伊文集》中的一句话："地球是一个国家，人类是它的公民"。通过共同的陶瓷语言，她探索着人类大家庭中将我们团结在一起的东西。这些运动和裂纹是她多年个人研究的成果，利用了陶瓷材料和工艺的元素特质。在创作这些作品时，她关注的是个人能动性、自由意志以及我们如何回应和参与内在与外在的经验伤害。
In coming to Jingdezhen, words from the Baha’i Writings “The Earth is one country, and mankind its citizens” were in mind. Through the shared language of ceramics, she explores what unites us as members of the human family. The movement and cracking result from years of personal research, exploiting the elemental qualities of ceramic materials and processes. In creating these works she is concerned with personal agency, free will and how we respond and engage with the injury of experience - within, with each other.
